1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed once we receive a 30% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is payable in cash, bank transfer, or mobile money on arrival in Tanzania, before the trip starts.
2. Payment Methods
We accept Western Union to our Mixx by Yas mobile wallet (Mussa Bashiri Mushi, +255 655 691 910, Moshi, Tanzania), international bank transfer, and cash on arrival. Please share your payment receipt with us via WhatsApp once the transfer is completed.
3. Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 30 days before departure (deposit refunded minus bank fees). 30 to 15 days: 50% of total trip price retained. Less than 15 days: 100% retained. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
4. Pricing
All prices are quoted per person in USD and based on the package and group size confirmed. Park fees, government taxes, accommodation, transport and guiding are included as listed in each itinerary. Personal expenses, tips, visa fees and international flights are not included.
5. Itinerary Changes
Itineraries can be customized at any time before departure. Once a trip is underway, changes due to weather, road conditions, wildlife movements or safety reasons are made at the discretion of your guide.
6. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation is mandatory for Kilimanjaro climbs and strongly recommended for all safaris. We can recommend trusted providers.
7. Health & Safety
Travelers must declare any pre-existing medical conditions before booking, particularly for Kilimanjaro climbs. A yellow fever certificate may be required when arriving from endemic countries.
8. Liability
Tanzania Adventure Expert acts in good faith and cannot be held liable for events outside our control, including but not limited to weather, political situations, illness, accident or loss of personal belongings.
9. Reviews & Photos
We greatly appreciate honest reviews after your trip — they help our small local team grow. Photos shared with us may be used (with credit) on our website and social media unless you opt out.
